I have very high aspirations for The Samuel Lister Academy. I believe that every student at the Academy has a right to the very highest quality education against a background of high expectations, academic rigour and appropriate support and guidance. It is imperative that the drive to improve standards continues as that will enable all students to reach their full potential.

I believe that by working together, students, staff, parents and our sponsor, The McMillan Education Trust can achieve these aspirations together.

You’ll find all the information you need on here for students, parents and staff. We have also introduced a new blog feature for the website. Every week, a member of the Academy will have the opportunity to write about something that’s going on in or around the Academy. Our first blogger is the Principal and Chief Executive of Bradford College, Michele Sutton.
